  • 顔真卿は、独特の筆法による楷書をのこしました。この自書告身は、麻姑仙壇記とは異なり、筆が冴えて活動しているタイプの書です。筆の弾力を効果的に用いており、生き生きとしていて、結体にも筆意にも非常に変化が多いのが特徴です。「蚕頭」といわれる、起筆を蚕の頭のように書く法や、「燕尾」といわれる、右払いの収筆が燕の尾のように書く方法が随所にみられます。この帖の肉筆と伝えられるものが、日本に伝来していますが、時代を経て墨が薄く精彩の乏しいものとなっています。本書では、何種類も残されている拓本から「秋碧堂帖」の拓本を収録しています。「自書告身」は、書かれた年号をとり「建中告身」や「建中帖」とも呼ばれています。
